Chuck Roast, Onions, Carrots, Peas, Parsley, Garlic, Tomato Paste, Vinegar, Flour, Red Wine, Beef Broth, Bay Leaves, Seasoning, Sugar, Polenta, Corn Kernels, Butter, Olive Ooil, Mozzarella Cheese, Cayenne, Chicken Broth

Cooking Instructions

Beef Stew

Microwave: Reheat stew in the microwave on HIGH POWER for 3 to 5 minutes checking regularly.
Stove: Reheat stew in a sauce pan on medium-high heat.

Polenta

Add corn pack to sauce pan and saute for 2-3 mins on medium heat.
Add polenta pack together with 2.5 cups of water per 2 servings.
Bring to boil and stir making sure chicken cube dissolves.
Cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat until water is absorbed.
Mix in cheese mixture and stir until cheese melts.
Serve stew over polenta.

Needs work

The stew was super, the meat tender and delicious. However the Polenta was a disaster, it never thickened and when the stew was plated on top the Polenta turned very liquid. Mashed potatoes work much better! I went online and all recipes called for the Polenta to be cooked 30 minutes (not 5) to get it to thicken. I will order again but substitute mashed potatoes.

Great comfort food

It's simply delicious. It's as good the second day. I love the polenta with fresh corn, and the stew is perfect.
