Orange Chicken

Description |
Crispy, stir fried chicken in a delicious orange sauce together with a side of Asian mixed vegetables. Make it homemade for a healthier, better alternative over Chinese takeout. |

Cook Time: 15 minutes |
Ingredients: |
Chicken, sriracha, ground ginger, corn starch, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, orange juice and zest, garlic powder |
Cooking Instructions: |
In supplied pan mix chicken with corn starch coating evenly. Add 5 tablespoons of oil to a skillet. Heat on high. Add chicken. Cook for 7 mins until crispy, cooking in batches and adding more oil as necessary. Remove chicken & excess oil. Add sauce. Cook for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens. Add chicken and toss until coated evenly. Serve. |

As always, the food was good. It said crispy but I couldn't get it to crisp though looked more like the picture. I expected stir fry veggies but they were the roasted that come with other dishes and were put in the oven. They are good, just not what I expected. I agree that fried rice would be a nice addition because we could add a veggie but these were a good addition to my husband's salmon dish. |
